302-series Fighter Interceptor

The second glider completely constructed by the U.S. government, and the first to be the successful template for an series of spacecraft, the F-302 is renamed from the X-302 experimental class vessel. It is armed with advanced weaponry and is extremely durable.

The F-302 can be deconstructed to be moved through the Stargate, and be reconstructed on the other side. It is propelled by two standard thrusters and one large booster rocket, as was its predecessor. Like its predecessor, the F-302 cannot sustain a hyperspace conduit for any extended period of time, due to the instability of naquadria, used to power the hyperspace engine. But, also like its predecessor, it is capable of short bursts at hyperspace, covering several kilometres in an instant.

United States Variants:

• F-302: First ever production model interstellar fighter developed from the failed X-301 project. Designed to combat enemy fighters and small craft. Forms the bulk of Earth's current fighter inventory though slowly being phased out in favour of later models. Contains no shields and a hyperdrive system only capable of small tactical jumps. Callsign is a reference to the merging of Earth and Goa'uld technology the fighter contains.
  
• T-302B: Named after the harsh training regime imposed on Spartan youth, the T-302B serves as an unarmed trainer to allow existing pilots to make the conversion to the production run 302 series craft. Duel controls allow the back seat instructor to take full control of the craft should the need arise.
  
• EA-302C: While the F-302's engage enemy fighters and vessels, the EA-302C's mission profile is to destroy and disrupt enemy communications, shields and technology. While unarmed and often needing escort when entering combat zones, the vessel used passive and active Earth and Asgard technology to render combat critical enemy computer systems useless. These craft are undergoing their initial deployment and are expected to arrive at the Delian Expedition shortly.
  
• X-302D: Little is known about the latest 302 vessel, still under development deep within Area 51, though rumours suggest it will be a multi-role craft, able to engage space and land targets The remove for the second crew member is expected to make way for a small scale cloaking generator and/or hyperspace window generator.

Prometheus-class Battlecruiser

With the success of the F-302 interceptor, Earth's military needed a ship capable to delivering the fighter to battle, with the Prometheus filling this role both as a carrier and combat vessel. Although Daedalus-class battle cruisers have all but superseded this line of vessels a few remain in service as destroyer escorts. The current status of the 303 line of vessel is currently highly classified, and it is unknown if the Icarus is the last ship of this design to be constructed, or if other IOA nations have acquired the plans for this class of vessel.

Ships of the Line:

• USS Prometheus: The first ever Earth built interstellar battlecruiser, built using a combination of Earth, Asgard and Goa'uld technology. For a long time the ship served as Earth's only line of defence from space threats until it's destruction over Tegalus.
  
• RFS Zhukov / USS Icarus: In order to maintain relations with the US, Russia was given the plans to the 303 after the Daedalus-class became the focus of production. The vessel was constructed and launched as the RFS Zhukov, named after the highly awarded WWII Soviet general. During her maiden voyage to the Delian Galaxy she was taken over by Ba'al and abandoned with all hands lost. Later recovered under dubious 'salvage laws' that lead to more tensions between the US and Russian. Went on to be the lead vessel in Task Force Ida before being destroyed in orbit above Earth.

Daedalus-class Battlecruiser

Taking the lessons learned during their production of the Prometheus-class cruiser, Stargate Command and Area 51 scientists soon created a larger and more powerful craft in the form of the Daedalus-class battle cruiser, the immediate successor to the Prometheus. Built to go one-on-one with Goa'uld motherships and Wraith cruiser, this class of vessel has become the backbone of Earth's defensive fleet. The ships are currently undergoing upgrades to bring them to “Block II” specifications, which will equip each cruiser with an Asgard core and beam weapons along with a clocking shield and upgraded systems. Currently the Odyssey and Iliad are the only two vessels to have undergone these updates.

Ships of the Line:

• USS Daedalus: Tasked with the mission of transporting supplies and personnel between Earth and Atlantis as well as defending the Pegasus expedition, the Daedalus has had a long and dignified service on Earth's intergalactic frontline against the Wraith and the Asurans. The vessel currently serves as the flagship of the 1st Tactical Fighter Wing "Wraith Waxers", also known as the "Fast Attack Wing".
  
• USS Iliad: Six months after the Daedalus was fielded her sister ship the Iliad was launched and put to immediate use in the Delian Galaxy, helping the expedition gain the upper hand at the Battle of Bactra and faithfully serving them ever since. Under the command of Colonel Chapman the ship continues her mission to defend and resupply those posted at the Delta Site.
  
• USS Odyssey: Assigned to the 24th Space Deployment Group, the Odyssey has become the backbone of Earth's defence grid since the destruction of the Prometheus. The vessel's primary role is to defend Earth from alien assault whilst supporting the operations of Stargate Command and assisting with the training of the next generation of F-302 pilots.
  
• RFS Korolev: Originally built by the US, the Korolev was launched as a Russian vessel in exchange for continued usage of the Stargate and to help smooth over relations after Lieutenant Colonel Jonathon Harrison claimed a Russian BC-303 cruiser as USAF property under dubious salvage laws. The ship was short lived, being rushed into service for the Battle of P3Y-229 where she was destroyed by Ori forces with all but six crew members lost.
  
• USS Aeneid: Upon being commissioned the Aeneid made its way to the Asgard home galaxy to join Task Force Ida under the command of Colonel Miranda Elwood, the first woman to captain a vessel of the 304 class. With the destruction of the Icarus and the rotation of the task force the Aeneid was transferred to the Delian galaxy.
  
• USS Apollo: Launched in mid-2007 and armed with the newly developed Horizon weapons system, the Apollo marks a move within the Earth fleet from a defensive posture to one that can project forward power and take the fight to the enemy. The ship is the heart of the 2nd Tactical Fighter Wing "Repli Raiders" and supports operations in the Pegasus galaxy.
  
• PLAV Sun Tzu: Construction of 304 class cruisers was put on hold during 2008 to focus on the new Oedpius-class supercarrier, known as the X-306. Construction will recommence in 2009 with the Sun Tzu to be built by the US and given to the Chinese government.

305-series Shuttle

While Earth's fleet can achieve front line dominance in space combat with the F-302 interceptor and it's variants, the ever growing fleet has found itself in dire need of a shuttle to carry out support missions. With the number of Ancient Puddle Jumpers slowly dropping due to accidents and destruction the 305 shuttle was created to take over duties as a troop and material transport, as well as serve as a platform for early warning and control missions.

Able to fit through a Stargate and also carrying a hyperdrive engine, the shuttle is able of operating in all corners of the galaxy. The 305 is set to become the 'work horse' of Earth's fleet, and will become a common sight on cruiser air groups and at off-world bases. The shuttles are equipped with Asgard-based passive cloaking fields which make the vessels all but invisible to sensors, though they are still visible to the naked eye.

United States Variants:

• X-305: Being the first shuttle of it's class to be built, the X-305 serves as a test bed for the new technologies created for the shuttle and will be shipped out to expeditions and cruisers for a period of rigorous field testing.
  
• C-305: The C-305 was created to transport personnel between ships, planets and bases. In addition to the crew of two, six passengers can be seated in the rear of the shuttle, with a maximum capacity of ten when standing, and with the seats removed the shuttle can transport large amounts of cargo. A door mounted machine gun proves covering fire for entering and leaving the shuttle in combat zones.
  
• E-305B: Set to be launched after the C-305 has fully taken over from the Puddle Jumper, the early warning and control variant of the shuttle will be deployed to scout out areas surrounding bases and fleets and extend the sensor range of such installation. The E-305B will not be armed, and is designed to locate enemies and report back rather than engage them.

Oedipus-class Supercarrier

While the Daedalus-class battle cruisers have proved themselves to be more than a match for Goa'uld and Wraith motherships, Earth's fleet found itself on the losing end of battles against the superior vessels of the Ori fleet, and needed a much large vessel to stand off against the seasoned vessels of the Olympian and Nidhogg forces. The result of joint planning with the Asgard is the Oedipus-class super carrier, a vessel twice the length of the BC-304 vessels and designed to hold three times as many fighters and support shuttles. This huge fighter wing comes at a price - the SC-306 is only lightly armed, and has no missile tubes or Asgard beams weapons, and is escorted at all times by Prometheus- or Daedalus-class cruisers. The Asgard computer core allowed for rapid advancements in the development and construction of the carrier, and allows the ship to be run by less crew than her size would otherwise suggest. A pair of Asgard neutrino-ion generators feeds the ships huge power requirements.

Ships of the Line:

• USS Oedipus: Launched in the middle of 2008, the first vessel of the class is set to be assigned to Battlecruiser Strike Group One (BSG-1) alongside the Iliad and Aeneid in support of the Delian Galaxy expedition, in order to stenghten the expedition's fleet assets against a still strong Olympian fleet and to aid in the war against the Titans. The ship will be classified as an X-306 for the first few months of operation until final field testing is complete.
  
• USS Achilles: A second SC-306 is expected to be constructed in 2011, though it's name, commander and assignment are yet to be released.
